Lake Norman is a man made lake that covers over 32,000 acres and 520 miles of shoreline. It is located about 20 miles North of Charotte, North Carolina, and is bordered by four different counties. These include Mecklenburg, Iredell, Catawba, and Lincoln. Towns that make up the Lake Norman area include Huntersville, Cornelius, Mooresville, Davidson, Troutman, Sherrills Ford,Terrell, Denver,Cowans Ford and Statesville.
